About The Band
Folly to the Wise is a new "music experiment" out of Middletown, Ohio. Coming from a variety of backgrounds, Folly's music is a unique blend of acoustic, folk, rock and bluegrass. The band is comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Grayson Schick (Brookville, Ohio), mandolin player, Kyle Jamison (Fairfield, Ohio) and hand percussionist, Matt "Sal" Salyer (Middletown, Ohio). The three have had a several years experience playing with one another leading worship at The Oaks Community Church (Middletown). Recently to three have welcomed the addition of harmony vocalist, Katey Bundy (Wyoming, Ohio). You can hear Katey's talents here as she sings harmony with her brother. Folly to the Wise enjoys reaching back to some classics, as well as mixing in some newer material. Musical influences include Johnny Cash, Stevie Wonder, Ryan Adams, Sam Cooke, and many more.
